Nicholas Stoffregen, OD

While attending grade school, I was referred to the optometrist by the recommendation of my teacher. Glasses were prescribed and then contact lenses in middle school. The difference made by these encounters and the vision care I received was what decided my future and career.

I am a class of 2004 graduate from the Southern College of Optometry. Early in my career, I worked in a general ophthalmology private practice clinic with an emphasis in cataract, laser refractive surgery, and cornea. There, I gained invaluable experience in cataract evaluation and post-op care, LASIK and PRK candidacy evaluation and post-op care, and a wide range of medical patient encounters.

For the last 15 years, I have lived here in the Denver area practicing primary care optometry. Denver has been a great home for me. I enjoy the abundance of outdoor activities it has to offer including snow boarding and mountain biking. I am also a motorsports enthusiast and an avid follower of Formula 1.

I have enjoyed my career as a vision care provider. It is a profession that I find very interesting and offers opportunities for continuous learning. What I appreciate most is delivering that same experience I had when I discovered my true potential with corrected vision. I look forward to doing the same for you. See you soon!
